These great sponsors helps us to draw participants and spectators in with newspaper ads, printed flyers, banners, social media boosts, and through our participation with the AuSable River Festival printed materials. This generous contribution will get you included on our promotional flyers, your banner on the Battle Ground, and we will share your support online and on-site

This sponsor is helping us to provide our Champion hopefuls with custom made tank tops, and benefit from the long-term marketing of having your name and logo included on these highly-coveted shirts!  This sponsorship will earn you the additional benefit of promotion across our social media platforms and on-site during the showdowns.

So many little things go into making this event: printing (so much paper and ink!) paddler packets, file folders, markers, air horns, zip ties, signage, silicone sealant for the pool… you know the nuts and bolts. This sponsor is helping us cover all of the odds and ends, and we will let everyone know how helpful you were by giving you a shout out online, on-site, and with your banner on the Battle Ground.

Everyone gets a trophy!  Just kidding!  Only winners get trophies, and a couple spectacular “losers,” but whatever.  Point is, we need your help to make sure they get them. We’ll make sure everyone knows what a winner you are during the presentation of the glorious hardware and memorialize it online as well.

You, your business, or your organization, could be the proud sponsor of a paddler (or two).  BYOP (bring your own paddler) or be assigned one by us, it’s your call! We’ll let the crowd know that you have that paddler’s back by announcing your support before their match(es).  You can also send a shirt for them to sport during their time in the Battle Ground. We will also recognize you and your paddler on social media.

The fourth annual fight for the prestigious honor of being named Paddle Battle Champion takes place on July 26th, 2019!

In the middle of the AuSable River Festival, on the eve of one of the most elite canoe marathons in the world, up to 32 paddlers, 16 men and 16 women, will vie to be crowned the Paddle Battle Champions.  All happening right in the heart of Downtown Grayling, Michigan’s Most Colorful Rivertown!

Two at a time, competitors will face off in one canoe. Paddling toward their opponent, each will fight to reach the end of the pool and avoid elimination. Only the victors advance to the next round, where they will meet a new challenger and continue their quest to unseat the 2018 Paddle Battle Champions: Vicki Hart and Mo Harwood.

Our custom made “Battle Ground” will be the center piece of Downtown Grayling for one afternoon, as spectators cheer on paddle wielding warriors, while enjoying Michigan craft brews and the warm summer air.

Grab some grub from the AuSable River Festival food court, just one block away, or any of our great local eateries, then pull up a chair to watch the action!

We look forward to another great year and hope that you will join us for this fun annual community event!
